The Dogfather Playgroup

Your dog will love playing with her friends in our huge indoor facility that’s loaded with toys! The unpredictable Boston weather, too hot or too cold, can never stop your dog from staying in shape while playing fetch, romping with her friends, and getting her belly scratched! Playtime serves to improve your dog’s social skills (with people and other dogs), keep her fit with exercise and relieve the stress of being cooped up at home. Dogfather playmates get plenty of attention since there is an 8 dog maximum! Half the fun is getting there – we will pick up your dog in the North End and take him home when playtime is over.

We welcome all dogs 35 pounds and under

Playgroups occur Monday through Friday from 10:00am-12:00pm, 12:00pm-2:00pm and 2:00pm-4:00pm.

Dogfather Day Trips

Calling all canines! This is where the real fun happens. While you are slaving away at work, your dog will be living a life of adventure on a Dogfather Day Trip to The Fells. A truly liberating experience for a city dog who is always leashed, Dogfather Day Trips give your dog the chance to be himself as he experiences the sights and smells of nature while trotting down woodsy trails and romping through hidden streams with his canine companions.

There are two types of Dogfather Day Trips. Our morning session is most appropriate for older dogs and involves less rigorous exercise. Our afternoon session is more rigorous and lasts longer -- perfect for keeping your younger dog in peak physical condition.

All dogs who participate must be trained for off-leash play. Our 10 dog maximum insures that your best friend will get the attention and security you demand. The Dogfather staff will pick up and drop off your dog at home.

Dogfather Day Trips occur Monday through Friday at The Fells, over 2,500 acres of untouched natural reservation just outside of Boston

Morning Session: 8:00am pick up; 10:30am drop off

Afternoon Session: 11:00am pick up; 3:30pm drop off

NOTE: ALL dogs participating in Dogfather Day Trips MUST be trained to walk off-leash
